Ales & Wines is a premier destination for beer and wine lovers, offering an extensive selection of over 30 varieties of beer and a curated wine collection. We are looking for a Bar Manager / Lead Bartender to oversee bar operations, manage inventory, and ensure an exceptional customer experience.

Job Responsibilities:

· Bartending & Customer Service: Craft and serve high-quality beverages while delivering outstanding service.

· Stock & Inventory Management: Track and order inventory, ensuring optimal stock levels and minimizing waste.

· Staff Supervision: Train, mentor, and oversee bartenders and bar staff to maintain high service standards.

· Bar Operations Management: Ensure smooth daily operations, including cleanliness, maintenance, and compliance with health and safety regulations.

· Menu & Sales Optimization: Collaborate on drink menus and promotions to drive sales and enhance customer engagement.

· Financial Accountability: Manage cash handling, track sales, and provide reports on revenue, expenses, and inventory usage.

· Event Planning & Coordination: Assist with special events, beer tastings, and promotions to attract new and returning customers.

Qualifications:

· Experience: Minimum of 3+ years in bartending or management role.

· Skills: Strong knowledge of beer, wine, and cocktails. Ability to multitask and lead a team in a fast-paced environment.

· Certifications: Must have or be willing to obtain necessary alcohol service certifications (e.g., BASSET, TIPS).

· Personality: Outgoing, responsible, and passionate about craft beer, wine, and customer service.
